Working at this place

I will not mention the name of the place.
I'll just call it the place.

Usually wouldn't you think that the employers would treat their employees with respect and treat them well? Yeah... but not at the place. Things aren't normal there.

I used to be a Team Lead and they randomly changed me to be a Trainer one day. The way I found out about this was in a staff meeting when they announced in front of all the staff "Meet your new Trainers and said my name" And that's how I found out. Kinda odd wouldn't you think? I would say. What happens if I don't want to be a Trainer? I guess I have no choice.

Last week the Trainers and Team leads got yelled at by the CEO of the place because he didn't think we were doing a good job and we can do better and we have to do better or else we might not have a job next week. ..Oh and when I say we got yelled at, I don't mean just talking a little loud. He also mentioned that's why we gets paid the "big bucks" so that's all nice and dandy.

BUT...

Today, I get my pay stub and what do you know... They lowered my wages without even mentioning it to me. I had to find out by looking at my pay stub. I really like that one after being yelled at the week before for making the "big bucks".

What I want to know is what the fuck goes on in his head? You think I really want to work there now? I don't think so. It's a horrible place to work. I would not recommend the place to anyone I know. I wouldn't want someone to go threw the same thing I am going threw.

Now, I'm just waiting for the day I get fired that must be next, right?

And that's just a little about my job.

City Life...

Calgary life sucks.
You don't have time for anything.
All you do is work.
No time for making friends.
No time to stop.

I want to go back to how life was before I moved here. It was so simple and quite compared to now. You could be late for anything and you knew it was totally fine because you weren't the only one. Even tho that there's no traffic like in the city. But it was OK. No one was going to ask you why you were late and tell you that you can't take your breaks because of it.
When your outside just enjoying the sun, you hear planes and helicopters flying high. Back home in the country you hear birds and bees. It's totally different.
Where are the lakes? Where are the camps?
I want to go Kayaking but where? Not here.
All there is here, is big malls full of people and screaming kids.
I want to go back where I come from.
Where life was simple and no one cared. Where there's no people, no traffic.
That's where I come from.
